Senior Customer Program Manager – Automotive
Location: Stuttgart Region, Germany
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Customer Program Manager to support a rapidly growing business in the automotive sector. This is an exciting opportunity to lead key programs, collaborate with global teams, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions to top automotive clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for key program stakeholders, articulating critical program details internally and externally.
- Develop and deliver program scopes that meet customer requirements effectively.
- Represent the company in customer meetings, build events, and other communications.
- Plan and execute projects using structured methods (e.g., WBS, project charters, Gantt charts).
- Perform risk/impact analyses and develop recovery strategies to maintain program milestones.
- Oversee change management activities and provide leadership in program assessments.
- Build and nurture multi-level customer relationships to support account strategies and drive design wins.
- Prepare and present program status reports to confirm alignment with scope, quality, and cost objectives.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record as a result-oriented and driven Program Manager, with extensive experience working with European OEMs.
- 6+ years of experience in new product development or program/project management within the automotive sector.
- Background in managing multidisciplinary teams, including Software, Hardware, Mechanical, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity.
- Experience navigating matrixed environments, collaborating with departments like Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, and Finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- PMP certification or equivalent experience.
- Global product development expertise.
- Background in launching opto-mechatronic or sensor solutions (e.g., LiDAR, Camera, 3D systems).
